Initial Contact With Client

Recently, I was contacted by Simon Rogers from City Academy Norwich regarding the creation of a promotional video for World Book Day within their school.

Mr Rogers contacted me as I've produced various videos for the Academy in the past. After reading this email, I realised that this opportunity would tie in with my Production Management Project perfectly, giving me the opportunity to create a Social Action and Community Media video to help promote his cause.

Shortly after receiving his email, I replied and suggested some possible times to arrange an initial meeting.

As you can see, various emails were exchanged. Eventually, we agreed on an initial meeting between 3:30-4:00pm on Wednesday the 4th of February. During this meeting I will ask Simon what his primary idea is for the short film, and give my input to hopefully come to a final decision on style and format. We will then brainstorm this specific idea further and go more into timings.
